In the confines of their NYC studio during a particularly long North Eastern winter, AHBS [pronounced: abz] wrote an album with visions of summer, sex, and herbal lifestyles. A pop duo, half hailing from Buenos Aires, Argentina and the other a native New Yorker, present a Latin infused electronic pop project with hopes of creating a bridge between NYC and Latin America. Mate y Agave, their debut release out on Doom Dab, features a slew of guest vocalists, such as K Rizz and rapper Jay Boogie, who help create a distinct Spanglish flavor. Long standing staples of New York nightlife, @AHARAW and @BillyScher use their DJ pedigrees to channel the music towards a club ready mentality where all are welcome and positivity rules.
